I noticed water in my kitchen cabinet which turned out to be a burst pipe in the wall. It caused a huge mess, damage to surrounding areas of the kitchen and was very expensive to repair. Andrea came to my condo, assessed all of the damage and came up with a list of damages. He took complete control of the situation, contacting the insurance company, setting up a mediation session with the insurance company and when that was unsuccessful steered me to attorney who ultimately arrived at a pretrial settlement and I recovered all of my out of pocket expenses! What does a public adjuster do?

A public adjuster represents you—not the insurance company. We inspect and document the damage, review your policy, prepare a detailed estimate, communicate with the carrier, attend inspections, and guide your claim through the settlement process.

When should I contact a public adjuster?

The best time is before filing your claim, so the damage can be properly inspected and documented from the beginning. If you have already filed, we can still review the claim and determine how we may be able to help.

Can you help if my claim has already been denied?

Absolutely! We can gather information and or documentation that may have been missed to re-open the claim and challenge the denial decision.

How much does it cost to hire SWFL Public Adjusters?

There are no upfront costs. Our fee is a percentage of the insurance recovery. We don’t get paid unless and until you do!

What happens during the free inspection?

We inspect the visible damage, discuss how and when the loss occurred, review available policy and claim documents, and explain the possible next steps. You are not obligated to hire us simply because we inspected the property.

Q6. What should I do immediately after damage occurs?

Make sure everyone is safe, take photographs and videos, and take reasonable steps to prevent additional damage. Keep damaged materials and receipts whenever possible, and avoid making permanent repairs until the damage has been properly documented.

How long do I have, to file a claim?

An insurance claim should be reported as soon as damage occurs, waiting longer than 14 days may result in the claim being denied.
